I am constantly aware of the way that God leads and directs with a thread from one thing to the next. Whether it is a job change or a new season of life, I have learned to embrace each new thing with hope and anticipation. I love being able to share that with others too. In our home is a sign that reads, “We rise by lifting others.” I think that’s true, and it’s why I thrive working in the church.
My favorite part of my job is coming alongside ministry teams to help communicate their mission. It’s a challenge and a joy to ask the right questions that lead to the right plan for each ministry!
As an Enneagram 4 and 2 (an individualist and helper), getting to know people by serving is my happy time. I serve coffee in the Commons on Sunday, pray with people after worship service, mentor a young woman, and have had the beautiful experience of loving children in Africa on a mission trip! I’ve also been known to serve people with a big scoop of dark chocolate or gummy bears from my candy dish at my desk!
My husband Tom and I have 4 kids (including our wonderful son-in-law) and two precious grandkids. Nothing is better than having the whole gang together. As soon-to-be empty nesters, we look forward to some travel and foodie-related adventures!
