Connecting & growing with others at Calvary
As a church, our purpose is to help people connect with God and others. The purpose of a GROUP is to help people strengthen these connections and be growing disciples.
Growing disciples have a relationship with Jesus that impacts every area of their life. They are taking specific steps to intentionally connect with the church community, grow in their faith, serve others, and help others find Jesus.
While Small Groups are the best way to join community life at Calvary, we have a few other types of groups for you too.
Small Groups
If we’re honest, we’re all being influenced by someone. Small Groups are about choosing to be connected to and influenced by people who want to follow Jesus. The goal of Small Groups is to move you out of the church row and into a circle of people you meet with face-to-face for genuine life-to-life community.
Care Groups
Care Groups provide focused support and encouragement for individuals navigating challenging life circumstances, relational difficulties, or transitional seasons. These groups offer a safe space for participants to experience healing and growth through community and faith-centered resources tailored to their unique needs.
Bible Studies
Bible Studies are designed to deepen your understanding of God's Word and foster meaningful community. These groups focus on scripture-based discussions, creating an environment for spiritual growth, mutual encouragement, and practical application of biblical principles in everyday life.
Affinity Groups
Affinity Groups provide opportunities for members to connect with others in similar life stages or with shared interests, fostering deeper relationships and spiritual growth. These groups, including ministries for students, seniors, and other life stages, emphasize community, discipleship, and serving within the church and beyond, creating a space for members to strengthen their faith together.
