Followers Need a Community
Reflection questions for the Follow sermon series are for your personal reflection or you can talk them over with your family, friends, or small group. This sermon series is designed to push all of us to think more deeply about what it means to be a disciple and follow Jesus. It’s not about doing more; it’s about abiding more.
THINKING ABOUT COMMUNITY
1. Is there someone you are struggling with? What next step is the Spirit stirring your heart toward? Do you need to confess a failure or sin? Do you need to offer forgiveness?
2. Is there someone in your family, church community, or small group you could love better? Ask the Holy Spirit to help you do this.
3. Are there areas of your life that you’re holding back from community? Pray that God would reveal why and ask the Holy Spirit to help you move towards healing (maybe even in community).
4. Read Colossians 3:12-17 and allow the Spirit to speak, challenge, and encourage you.
